PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming condition determining method of a press machine capable of reducing cost. SOLUTION: The forming condition determining method of the press machine comprises: a step of obtaining the minimum fold pressure at which any crack may be generated while the fold pressure is constant from the forming start to the forming completion; a step of calculating the mean value of the reference fold pressure P<SB>3</SB>from the forming start to the forming completion with the reference fold pressure P<SB>3</SB>as the value lower than the obtained fold pressure; and a step of extracting a change pattern t<SB>5</SB>of the fold pressure capable of suppressing generation of both folds and cracks among the change patterns t<SB>1</SB>-t<SB>5</SB>of the fold pressure in which the calculated mean value P<SB>3</SB>is constant.
