<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger of an internal combustion engine capable of restraining reduction in a gas quantity storable in a pressure accumulating vessel, by restraining stay of moisture in the pressure accumulating vessel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This supercharger of the internal combustion engine includes a turbocharger 6 having a turbine 6b arranged in an exhaust passage 4 of the internal combustion engine 1, and a pressure accumulating tank 21 storing pressurized gas and arranged so that its gas can be supplied to the exhaust passage 4 upstream of the turbine 6b, and is provided by arranging an adsorbent 27 capable of adsorbing the gas and capable of discharging the adsorbed gas in the pressure accumulating tank 21. The pressure accumulating tank 21 includes a gas storage chamber 22 for storing the adsorbent 27 and storing the gas, and a heating chamber 24 arranged separately from the gas storage chamber 22 and introducing exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine 1 so that the adsorbent 27 is heated by the exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine.
