<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely support load from a damper, even when a spring seat 6 provided with a damper mounting seat 18 is connected to torsion beam 3 and trailing arm 2, and to prevent the spring seat 6 from excessively transmitting torsional force to the torsion beam 3, in a torsion beam type suspension. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spring seat 6 is connected to an inclined part 2c extended, to be inclined to the vehicle widthward outside, to a rear side of a connecting part with the torsion beam 3 of the trailing arm 2 on a rear side of the connecting part of the trailing arm 2 and the torsion beam 3. The spring seat 6 is not connected to the trailing arm 2 and the torsion beam 3 between a connecting part with the trailing arm inclined part 2c of the spring seat 6 and a connecting part with the torsion beam 3 of a flange part 13 of the spring seat 6.
