PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a truck for a railway vehicle, having fewer welding spots. SOLUTION: In the truck for the railway vehicle, cross beams 3 arranged in a sleeper direction are joined to right and left side beams 2 arranged along rails, and predetermined truck components 13 such as equipment and wiring are installed to the cross beams 3. Truck components 12 are installed to the cross beams 3 via fixing means 27 and 28 such as a bracket, and in the installation portions, either of a recess and a protrusion is formed in each of the cross beams 3 and the fixing means 27 and 28, and fitting portions between the engaged recesses 27f and 28f, and the protrusion 20 are fastened with a bolt.
