PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer method and a data transfer device that improve efficiency by reducing standby time for data input/output between apparatus via a storage device. SOLUTION: The data transfer method for data transfer between a first apparatus and a second apparatus includes in order the steps of: disposing an input storage device and an output storage device between the first apparatus and the second apparatus and inputting data from the first apparatus to the input storage device; copying the data from the input storage device to the output storage device; and outputting the copied data from the output storage device to the second apparatus.
