PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a medicament for the reduction of urinary urgency, especially in patients suffering from overactive bladder. SOLUTION: In patients suffering from overactive bladder (OAB), the invention provides a new use of darifenacin, or a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof, in the manufacture of a medicament for the reduction of urinary urgency. In patients suffering from overactive bladder (OAB Dry) without incontinence, darifenacin and a pharmaceutically acceptable derivative thereof can reduce the feeling of urinary urgency.
