The invention relates to a device (1) for vertically placing flat workpieces (3, 3') on a stacking table (4). In said device (1), the flat workpieces (3, 3') can be conveyed by a conveying cylinder (2) and can be dropped onto the stacking table (4). The leading ends of the flat workpieces (3, 3') are retained on the outer circumference of the conveying cylinder (2) with the aid of holding means and can be released before the workpieces (3, 3') reach the stacking table (4). Stripping means (5) are provided which encompass a plane (7), strip the workpieces (3, 3') released by the holding means from the outer circumference of the conveying cylinder (2), and deflect the workpieces (3, 3') along said plane in the direction of the stacking table (4). Additional holding fingers (10, 11) which allow the flat workpieces (3, 3') to be kept at a distance from the stacking table (4) can be introduced into the conveying path of the flat workpieces (3, 3'). Said holding fingers can be retracted behind the plane of the stripping means when the flat workpieces (3) are to reach the stacking table (4). The inventive stacking table (4) can be displaced relative to the conveying cylinder (2) along the plane (7) of the stripping means (5), in the direction of travel of the flat workpieces (3, 3'). |
