<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device capable of maintaining a light use efficiency of a light emitted to an irradiation face, even when a light guide member and a connection member are installed in a condition shifted from the axial center of the light guide member and the axial center of the connection member. <P>SOLUTION: The linear light source device is provided with the light guide member 2 formed with knurl grooves 25a, 25b, and a light outgoing face 21 in a position opposed to the knurl grooves 25a, 25b, on an axial side face 24 having one end serving as a light taking-in part 22 and extended axially, and a light source 4 arranged via the connection member 3, to be opposed to the light taking-in part 22 of the light guide member 2, wherein a boundary face between the connection member 3 and the light guide member 2 of the connection member 3 is formed into a rotationally symmetric curved face around the axial center of the connection member, and the light taking-in part 22 of the light guide member 2 is formed into a rotationally symmetric curved face around the axial center of the light guide member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
