<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door closing device capable of performing excellent door closing operation while appropriately reducing the speed of a sliding door immediately before the end of door closing even if the sliding door is rapidly brought close to the door closing side end, and moreover capable of protecting a door closing implement from the outside of the sliding door. <P>SOLUTION: The door closing device includes: the door closing implement A having a bar-like casing, a shock absorbing damper 3, hook members 4 journaled to a base end of a cylinder part 31 of the shock absorbing damper 3 and to the chip of a piston rod 32 respectively, and a tensile elastic body provided between both opposed hook members 4, 4; the sliding door 100 formed with a mounting groove part 100c and having a traveling roller 8 mounted to the lower end; and a guide rail. The bar-like casing of the door closing implement is mounted to the mounting groove part 100c. Fixed protrusions 9 through which the hook members 4 are released from lock to the lock groove of the bar-like casing, are provided near both door closing parts of the guide rail, and the hook member 4 at least on one side is locked to the lock groove of the bar-like casing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
