<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar simulator that can easily measure characteristics of a multi-junction solar cell in a short period of time, and to provide a method of measuring the multi-junction solar cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method of measuring the multi-junction solar cell includes: a process of emitting flash light from a halogen lamp 13 and performing control to make a peak part of a pulse waveform flat; a process of causing a xenon lamp 14 to emit flash light of a pulse which has a flat pulse waveform peak part shorter than the flat part of the flash light from the halogen lamp more than once while the peak part of the pulse waveform of the flash light from the halogen lamp is flat; and a measuring process of irradiating the solar cell 20 as a body to be measured with the flash light from the halogen lamp and the flash light from the xenon lamp, and measuring a current and a voltage output from the solar battery at one point or two points or more by controlling the load on the solar cell while the flash light is emitted from the xenon lamp. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
