<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating flush toilet suitably usable as a toilet disposed in a room without giving off a foul odor by performing decomposition treatment of sewage containing human waste to circulate and use it as flushing water. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Separately from a toilet bowl body part 1, the circulating flush toilet comprises: a sewage storage tank 12 for temporarily storing sewage discharged from a toilet bowl 3; a pump 14 pumping up and delivering sewage in the sewage storage tank 12; a reaction treatment tower 30 having a filter material 31 filled and stored as a microorganism carrier and sprinkling sewage supplied by the pump 14, from an upper part in the tower so that the sewage comes in contact with the filter material 31 to perform biological treatment; a water storage tank located below the reaction treatment tower 30 to receive and store water that has passed the reaction treatment tower; and a pump for pumping up water in the water storage tank to deliver it as flushing water.
