<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow uniform temperature distribution to be formed in an axial direction of a turbine rotor in a furnace. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An electric heating furnace has, as a body to be heated, a blast furnace gas turbine rotor 100 on which rotor blades 102 are embedded, and includes: a furnace body 10 covering the rotor blades and a blade mounting section 101 of the rotor together, a ceramic heater 15 arranged at a lower part in the furnace body and in the axial direction of the rotor; a perforated metal plate 20 having a number of through-holes and arranged inside of the ceramic heater in the furnace body and along the ceramic heater with a gap interposed between it and the ceramic heater; and a rotor support section 40 arranged outside the furnace body and supporting the rotor. It is preferable to provide a rotary mechanism 50 for rotating the rotor during heating by the ceramic heater and to arrange an inner lid in the furnace body for covering the blade mounting section of the rotor from above.
