<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress strain in a compressing mechanism part without sacrificing productivity, avoid drop in performance and enhance reliability by solving the problems of a conventional hermetic scroll compressor that the conventional hermetic scroll compressor is poor in productivity because a cylindrical wall of a connection pipe is pressed outward from the inside in the radial direction to increase the diameter so as to make press-contact with the circumferential wall surface of a connection pipe inserting hole to prevent performance and reliability from falling due to strain. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A scroll compressing mechanism part 1 of a hermetic compressor is structured so that the fitting part dimension of a suction connection pipe 81 with the connection pipe inserting hole 11 is set to ±0.05 mm, whereby the strain in the mechanism part 1 is suppressed and the risk of refrigerant leakage is lowered so as to secure preclusion of a performance drop and enhancement of the reliability.
