PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a poor control when installing units whose I/O identification control means differ. SOLUTION: An image formation device is equipped with one data line which transmits a detection signal which is input to a control board 51 from two or more detection means or a drive control signal which is output to two or more drive means from the control board 51, a signal for specifying the input and output of the data line, an identification signal line for transmitting the signal which specifies one detection means or drive means from two or more detection means and drive means, a period signal line for specifying the data effective period of the data line and the signal effective period of the identification signal line, the I/O identification control means 10 which identifies the corresponding detection means or drive means from the identification signal and makes the data on the data line effective as the data of the corresponding detection means or drive means, and a controller 30 which generates and sends the identification signal line and the period signal line for controlling the I/O identification control means 10.
