PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio telecontrol system enabling rapid communication by allowing a radio slave set to perform radio communication with another communicable radio master set when urgent radio communication is required because radio communication with a predetermined radio master set is not available. SOLUTION: When the radio slave set 11 fails in radio communication with a predetermined radio master set 10 previously set, urgent radio communication available for all radio master sets for reception starts. When a radio master set 06 receives the urgent radio communication, the radio slave set 11 performs communication via the radio master set 06. Accordingly, such a situation that the radio slave set 11 retries due to communication failure with the radio mater set 10 can be prevented. Furthermore, a time when radio communication to the radio master set 06 is not available (the master set is executing predetermined processing) is predicted, thereby enabling accurate urgent radio communication more rapidly without attempting useless radio communication processing.
