PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical amplifying device which is excellent in the cooling efficiency of an optical fiber for amplification, and is capable of miniaturization. SOLUTION: The optical amplifying device 10 includes a heat pipe 11 forming a shape curved into an approximate circle, an optical fiber 12 for amplification wound concentrically forming the shape almost equal to the curved shape of the heat pipe 11 and arranged so as to contact the heat pipe 11, a heat radiating portion 13 provided in one end portion 11a of the heat pipe 11.
