PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable route guidance by daily storing tracking data of a route driven by a vehicle and using the data later. SOLUTION: A navigation apparatus includes a track storage means 16 for generating tracking data of an actually driven route for storage, thus storing the tracking data of the actually driven route using the track storage means 16, and guiding a route based on the stored tracking data. Also, the navigation apparatus has a route dividing means 17. The route dividing means 17 takes a break from an engine start place to an engine stop place, or divides a route also at a place where a vehicle has stopped continuously exceeding a prescribed amount of time during drive, and generates tracking data of the driven route for storage.
