<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color toner which is improved in stability of image density, and further improved in light resistance, sublimation resistance, document offset, and bleeding of a glosser. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The color toner contains a resin and a colorant, wherein when the maximum absorption wavelength λmax of a toner dispersion liquid is λa, and the maximum absorption wavelength λmax of a solution prepared by extracting the toner with methanol is λb, 2≤¾λa-λb¾≤50 is satisfied.
