<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle post of a novel structure capable of reliably maintaining the riding state of the saddle post, and being easily folded as necessary. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A fastening means 6 is provided on an upper end of a saddle post outer 2 erected on a main frame 4, and a connection part piece 7 is provided on a lower end of an upper cylinder 3A, held by the upper end by the fastening means 6 and provided with a saddle 12 on an upper end thereof. A saddle post inner 3 is constituted, by turnably and pivotably attaching the connection part piece 7, and a connection part piece 8 of a lower cylinder 3B with the piece fit and inserted into the saddle post outer 2, having the saddle post outer 2 retracted by the connection part piece 8 at the upper end via a connection shaft 9. The lower cylinder 3B of the saddle post inner 3 is connected to the saddle post outer 2 via an assembly shaft 11 which penetrates a vertically long saddle height adjusting hole 10 formed in the lower cylinder 3B.
