<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose pile driver capable of solving various types of difficulties especially when long piles are driven by a hammer since various types of light-weight, long piles have been increasingly used especially in agriculture recently, eliminating the limitation of a tube-type pile driver since it is produced for a single operation purpose, eliminating the danger of the coming-off of pile heads which could happen with a hammer-type manual pile driver, and driving a pile higher than the height of an operator alone. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pile driver is used for driving long and short piles with a comfortable attitude. The pile driver is provided with a device capable of adapting to the body shape and physical strength of an operator and being freely divided and combined for applied operations. When used with a steel sheet for long piles combined with a steel sheet for short piles by bolts 5 and nuts 51 and a body turned upside down, the pile driver can be used as a pile driver for both long and short piles. The pile driver can be used for multi-purpose operations by also replacing implements invented and produced by an operator according to requirements through the use of an attaching and removing device.
