The blurs of the images of an object captured by a plurality of imaging means of a compound-eye imaging device, which is an example of the invention, are individually corrected by applying vibration to the imaging means and detecting the vibration so that the amounts of remaining blurs of the images after the correction are almost equal to one another.  With this, even if image blur correcting means provided to the imaging means have operation characteristics and installation errors different from one another, the image blur correction of each imaging means can be appropriately carried out.  Since the amounts of remaining blurs of the images after the blur correction by the imaging means are almost equal to one another, no feeling of strangeness is given, and a natural parallax image not causing eyestrain can be obtained.
