The drive has an endless belt (3) for transferring torque from one cone body (1) to another cone body (2), which is arranged parallel and bent opposite to the former cone body. A partial area of the interior of the belt runs on opposite conically running external circumference surfaces of the cone bodies. The axial position of the belt is changeable with respect to parallel longitudinal axes (A, B) of the cone bodies for determining a transmission ratio by moving the belt transverse to a direction of travel.
