<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for supplying dehumidified air that can sufficiently supply an intended area of a high temperature and a high humidity with dehumidified air from the ground to improve the ambience of the area without installing a machine such as a dehumidification unit in the intended area. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for supplying dehumidified air includes a compressor 4 for compressing air, a first heat exchanger 6 that cools high temperature compressed-air ejected from the compressor 4 by causing the compressed air to exchange heat with the atmospheric air, an expansion valve 8 that allows the cooled compressed air to decompress and expand, and a second heat exchanger 10 that cools and dehumidifies the atmospheric air by causing the expanded air of a reduced temperature to exchange heat with the atmospheric air, with a pipeline 12 connecting the components one after another in the order. An air receiver 14 for storing the cooled compressed-air is interposed between the first heat exchanger 6 and the expansion valve 8. The air receiver 14 is equipped with a water-cooled pipeline 16 for dehumidifying the compressed air stored therein by cooling it with water. A blower 36 is disposed downstream of the second heat exchanger 10, for introducing and supplying the atmospheric air cooled and dehumidified while passing through the second heat exchanger 10 and the dehumidified air flowing down in the tubes of the second heat exchanger 10 and being ejected from the downstream end of the tubes, into an intended area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
