PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a height position of another side joint strip 82 with simple structure corresponding to change of the type of a tire. SOLUTION: An unvulcanized tire assembly 41 is carried in and one side joint strip 23 and the another side joint strip 82 are joined to each other. Then, the unvulcanized tire assembly 41 is dropped together with an ascending/descending body 78 till coming into contact with a support stand 54 in opposition to pressing force of a spring 90. Thereby, even when the unvulcanized tire assembly 41 of different kind, that is the unvulcanized tire assembly 41 with different distance from a lower surface of a holder 10 to the one side joint strip 23, is carried in to change a stop height position of the one side joint strip 23, the ascending/descending body 78 and the spring 90 automatically adjust the height position of the another side joint strip 82 with the simple structure corresponding to the change.
