PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite opening sonar that corrects oscillation of a transducer and reduces the effect on composite opening processing. SOLUTION: This composite opening sonar includes an ideal single sequence propagation distance computer 230 for calculating the propagation distance between a reference position and a single sequence consisting of one transmitter and one receiver based on reference position information 20, a DPCA (Displaced Phase-Center Antenna) sequence propagation distance computer 240 for calculating the propagation distance between the reference position and a sequence consisting of one transmitter and a plurality of receivers, a correction amount computer 220 for calculating the correction amount based on the difference between the propagation distance of the output from the ideal single sequence propagation distance computer 230 and that from the DPCA sequence propagation distance computer 240, an oscillation correcting apparatus 210 for correcting a received signal based on the correction amount, a composite opening processing section 300, and a display control section 400. They are combined, and oscillation correction is performed while being reflected to the output of the DPCA sequence propagation distance computer 240 based on the oscillation information coming from an oscillation detection processing section 500.
