<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus suppressing drop of paper powder on a recorded medium again in a good manner, while the paper powder removed from the recorded medium by a paper powder removing roller is conveyed in a direction along a rotational shaft of the paper powder removing roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an auger 71, a surface opposed to a second paper powder roller 17 is rotated in the same direction as a surface of the second paper powder removing roller 17, and the paper powder scraped from a second paper powder removing roller 17 with a sponge 72 is conveyed from the center in a paper width direction toward both sides. The rotational shaft of the auger 71 is disposed to be closer to the downward in a rotational direction of the second paper powder removing roller 17 than the upward in a vertical direction of the rotational shaft of the second paper powder removing roller 17. Therefore, the paper powder dropped from the auger 71 during the conveyance is conveyed in a direction of the sponge 72 by the second paper powder removing roller 17, and the drop of the paper powder on the paper sheet 4 is suppressed.
