<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate for shielding electromagnetic wave which has sufficient electromagnetic wave shielding characteristics and is inexpensive. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The laminate for shielding electromagnetic includes a transparent base, a silane coupling agent layer laminated on the transparent base and having a catalyst for electroless plating present in a surface layer portion in an adsorbed and fixed state, metal patterns for shielding electromagnetic wave formed on the silane coupling agent layer, and a transparent resin layer laminated on the silane coupling agent layer and present between the metal patterns for shielding electromagnetic wave.
