<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay which can improve the responsiveness and moreover, is able to attain lower power consumption. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The relay includes: a body 1 formed of an insulating material and having a flow path 10 and an opening/closing void 11 crossing the flow path 10; a pair of terminals 2A, 2B provided at both ends of the flow path 10, respectively, and each having the upper end exposed to the flow path 10 and the lower end exposed to the outside of the body 1; a fluid contact part 3, formed with conductive fluid filled in the flow path 10 to be electrically connected to the upper ends of the pair of terminals 2A, 2B; a partition part 4, formed of an insulating material and movably arranged in the opening/closing void 11; and an actuator for moving the partition part 4. The actuator moves the partition part 4 between an opened position set into such a flow path 10 that divides the fluid contact part 3 and a closed position set out of the flow path 10 so as to prevent the fluid contact part 3 from dividing.
