<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable recording head which inexpensively and simply achieves a high placement accuracy of recording element substrates even in the recording head of a large recording width, and which prevents ink leakage or the like from occurring. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording head includes a plurality of delivering openings for delivering the ink, recording elements which generate a delivering energy for delivering the ink, a plurality of the recording element substrates with ink supplying ports for supplying the ink to the plurality of delivering openings formed therein, a supporting member which holds the recording element substrates and has a plurality of ink introducing ports for supplying the ink to the ink supply ports, and an ink supplying member joined to the supporting member and having an ink storing chamber for storing the ink. The supporting member is formed in one piece by a first member with the ink introducing ports formed therein, and a second member formed of a material different from that of the first member to surround the first member.
