<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain, even if a resin is supplied comparatively in a large amount at once to a heating cylinder, the resin material from developing a form like a millet-and-rice cake and to smoothly conduct plasticization of the resin material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An injection molding machine includes a heating cylinder having an injection nozzle fitted on its tip, a hopper for feeding a resin material and a screw arranged in the heating cylinder and performs a metering/reserving step and an injection step in succession. In such injection molding machine there are furnished a setting means 26 of a set rotational frequency that sets the set rotational frequency of the screw in the metering/reserving step, a setting means 27 of an initial rotational frequency that sets the initial rotational frequency of the screw in an early stage of the start of the metering/reserving step, and a setting means 28 of rise time that sets the rise time of the rotational frequency until the screw rotational frequency reaches the set rotational frequency after it has reached the initial rotational frequency.
