METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PRELIMINARILY BONDING LAMINATED GLASS USING CURVED ROLL

Disclosed is a device for preliminary bonding a laminated glass wherein a change in curvature of a glass plate can be coped with by simple adjustment when superimposed curved glass plates are press bonded by means of a pair of curved rolls. The device for preliminary bonding a laminated glass comprises a curved roll consisting of an enclosure roll member produced by coating, the outer circumference of a pair of rigid fixed shafts having an arcuate intermediate portion and linear opposite ends curved arcuately, with a flexible resin layer over the whole length of the outermost circumferential surface, which a plurality of rigid and short cylindrical members rotatable by means of a bearing set therebetween, a means for rotary driving the enclosure roll member of the curved roll, an angle adjusting means (a curvature direction adjusting means) for making the angle, in the curvature direction, of the arcuate fixed shaft adjustable, and a means for pressing the glass plate between the curved rolls, wherein both flat laminated glasses and curved laminated glasses can be bonded by pressure-clamping when rotation of the fixed shaft of a pair of vertical curved rolls is adjusted by means of the angle adjusting means.
