POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

A power distribution system comprises an alternating current feeder (10) and a direct current feeder (20).  The alternating current feeder (10) has an inverter device (104) for converting direct current power received from the direct current feeder (20) through a first link (61) into alternating current power and an alternating current control device (106) for operating the inverter device (104) to output the alternating current power to an alternating current feed line (30) when the value of AC request electric power given from a first monitor (71) becomes a prescribed limiting value or more.  The direct current feeder (20) has an AC/DC converter (206) for converting alternating current power received from the alternating current feeder (10) through a second link (62) and a direct current control device (207) for operating the AC/DC converter (206) to output the direct current power to a direct current feed line (40) when the value of DC request electric power given from a second monitor (72) is larger than the value of direct current power given from a third monitor (73) (direct current power supplied from a direct current power generating facility to the direct current feeder (20)) by a predetermined supply value or more.
