<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device capable of prolonging a lifetime of an air intake filter. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell device includes a vibration applying mechanism (a fuel cartridge 13, a projection 43 of air filter 41) which applies vibration to the air filter 41 to purify the air supplied to a power generation part, according to the movement to the device body at the time of insertion and removal of a fuel cartridge 13 which supplies the fuel used for power generation to the power generation part. Accordingly, by the vibration of the air filter 41 at the time of insertion and removal at the periodic exchange of the fuel cartridge 13, dust (for example, a compound of hydrocarbon system) adhering to the air filter 41 can be periodically removed and thus, the lifetime of the air filter 41 can be prolonged by suppressing performance deterioration due to air flow-rate reduction, and the running cost can be suppressed low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
