PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board unit which can illuminate effectively the front side of a game part configured such that a game medium can go through. SOLUTION: The game board unit includes a game board on which a playfield achieving a game played by flowing-down of game media is formed on its surface and a game part 33 which is configured such that the game media attached to the game board and flowing down in the playfield can go through. Light is allowed to enter a side face section 33e located in the left side or right side of an opening 33b allowing the game media to go through and, a front face section 33d located in front of the opening 33b is made to emit light with this light. The side face section 33e is located on the farther side of either the left or right side of the opening 33b from the horizontal center of the game board with the game part being attached to the game board.
