<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer type instrument device having satisfactory assembly workability and capable of supplying electric power to a light source of a pointer body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the pointer type instrument device M including an indication means 1, a drive body 2 provided at the back side of the indication means 1, a pointer body 6 which includes an arm part 3 mounted on a rotary shaft 26 of the drive body 2 and going around the indication means 1 and a pointer part 5 provided at the arm part 3, and a first light source 7 provided at the pointer body 6 and causing the pointer part 5 to emit light, the pointer type instrument device M includes a photo diode 10 provided at the pointer part 5 and a flexible board 11 that is a wiring member transmitting electric power obtained by the photo diode 10 to the first light source 7.
