摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain an estimate value of the alcohol concentration in fuel used for an internal combustion engine from becoming a value deviated to the thin value side from the actual alcohol concentration. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A reducing quantity correction value DS is used for correcting a reducing quantity of a fuel injection quantity in speed reduction operation of an engine 1, and is calculated based on the estimate value of the alcohol concentration in the fuel as a value capable of restraining the air-fuel ratio of the engine 1 from becoming richer than an allowable level in the speed reduction operation. Thus, the effect that the estimate value is deviated to the thinner value side than the actual alcohol concentration, can be determined based on the fact that time when the air-fuel ratio of the engine 1 exists in a determining range being a richer side range than the allowable level, becomes a determining value TH or more in the speed reduction operation. When the time when the air-fuel ratio of the engine 1 exists in the determining range, becomes the determining value TH or more in the speed reduction operation, a correction value is corrected to the thick side value side by a predetermined value L.
