<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet which avoids the formation of a blister by air intrusion in attachment and which can suppress deterioration over time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet has an interface protective layer on one principal surface of a base material and has, on the protective layer, a central area which comprises central gaps 4a of a predetermined width and central self-adhesive layers 3a arranged through the central gaps 4a, and a peripheral area which surrounds the central area and comprises peripheral gaps 4b connected to the central gaps 4a and peripheral self-adhesive layers 3b arranged through the peripheral gaps 4b, wherein the density of the peripheral gaps 4b in the peripheral area is less than the density of the central gaps 4a in the central area.
