<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of a passenger conveyer, reducing difference in potential between an inner ring and an outer ring of a bearing while smoothly operating a rotor, and preventing damage of the bearing part caused by electric corrosion. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A metallic plate 7 as a conductive member is disposed to a flywheel 3 to be in parallel thereto. A predetermined space is given between the flywheel 3 and the metallic plate 7. The metallic plate 7 is attached to a sidewall in the drive device of the passenger conveyer through a bracket for fixing (not shown). The metallic plate 7 is formed to have the same shape and size as the flywheel 3. A cable 9 is connected between the flywheel 3 and a frame 8 of an electric motor 1.
