<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evenly spread fresh air over a covered space on a cylinder head of an internal combustion covered with a head cover by considering a flow passage of the fresh air. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air current passing space 30 is formed in a continuous manner at one end in a short side direction of a covered space 4a above a cylinder head 4 over the entire longitudinal direction from a fresh air injecting position 30a. The fresh air injected into the covered space 4a above the cylinder head 4 immediately and swiftly flows in the air current passing space 30 with low flow resistance and is evenly spread over the entire air current passing space 30 in the longitudinal direction. The fresh air then flows in the short side direction and is discharged from a fresh air vent 32 placed at the end of the opposite side to the outside of the covered space 4a. Thus, the fresh air prevails also to corners 4b, 4c, 4d of the covered space 4a, preventing stagnation from occurring, to completely prevent the retention of highly concentrated blow-by gas and to thereby prevent the deterioration of lubricant oil.
