<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder for cutter knives which can perform the operation of a cutter blade by a simple architecture. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The holder relates to the holder 6 for the cutter knives for holding the cutter blade 4 in a freely taking-in/out manner. The holder 6 for the cutter knives has a holder body part 8 and a roller part 10 rotatably supported by the holder body part 8. A moving course 20 for supporting the cutter blade 4 in a way able to slide move is formed on the inside of the holder body part 8 and the outer peripheral face of a roller part 10 is in pressing contact with one side of the cutter blade 4. If the roller part 10 is rotated, the friction of the roller part 10 and the cutter blade 4, causes the cutter blade 4 to freely move between a storage location, in which its greater part is contained by the moving course 20, and a projection location in which its distal end is projected from one end part of the holder body part 8.
