PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which holes can stably be formed on a board with a high productivity, and to provide a manufacturing method for a liquid discharging head by utilizing the method. SOLUTION: This processing method for board has the process of preparing the board 101 on which a laser stopping layer 108 made of a material, which can suppress the permeation of laser beams, is installed on one surface side. Also, the processing method for board has the process of machining the board 101 by a laser beam from the rear surface of one surface of the board 101 toward the one surface, and a guidance hole 109 is formed on the board 101 by making the laser beam reach the laser stopping layer 108.
