PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrinkle-improving agent excellent in an effect for improving wrinkles accompanied by ageing and especially formed at light-exposed sites and in an effect for maintaining a beautifully healthy skin, and excellent in safety, and to provide an external skin preparation for improving wrinkles. SOLUTION: There are provided the wrinkle-improving agent comprising terpinene which is a cyclic monoterpene-based hydrocarbon, and the external skin preparation for improving wrinkles, characterized by containing terpinene in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass%.
