REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system for a building that remotely manages building residents' or users' personal information unitarily to provide detailed security monitoring and security services to the residents based on the personal information. SOLUTION: A remote security monitoring center 2 includes: a resident authenticating unit 6 for receiving entering/leaving people information, performing personal authentication of residents, and keeping track of the ingress and egress of the residents; a basic attribute database 10 for registering the residents' fixed personal attributes; an attribute history database 12 for recording the residents' varying personal attributes; a personal situation tracking unit 7 for detecting the residents' personal situations from images taken with a monitoring camera 16, and recording the situations in a personal situation tracking database 11; a control command transmitting unit 8 for transmitting a control command to a facility control means 3 which controls facility equipment 17; and a security command transmitting unit 9 for transmitting a control command requesting a security guard 13 to be dispatched.
