摘要 A solid electrolyte membrane (16) is adhered on the inside of annular frames (13, 14). An anode-side electrode catalyst layer (17), a first gas diffusion layer (19) and a first gas flow channel-forming body (21) are stacked on top of the solid electrolyte membrane (16). A cathode-side electrode catalyst layer (18), a second gas diffusion layer (20) and a second gas flow channel-forming body (22) are stacked on the underside of the solid electrolyte membrane (16). Frames (13, 14) are provided with a supply channel (M1) that supplies a fuel gas to the gas flow channel in the first gas flow channel-forming body (21) and a discharge channel (M2) that discharges the fuel gas. An overhang part (25) that extends outward is formed on the outer peripheral edge of the first gas flow channel-forming body (21) to overlap a flange part (S1b) of the frame (13) beyond the outer peripheral edge of the anode-side electrode catalyst layer (17). Penetration of seeping water into a narrow slit at the outer peripheral edge of the anode-side electrode catalyst layer (17) and the first gas diffusion layer (19) can be prevented by retaining the seeping water in the overhang part (25).
