<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measures and improved measures to incidents, surely execute re-evaluation on the contents of the measures thus taken and easily grasp effect and improvement obtained by the execution of safety management education to comprehensively support improvement in quality in safety management. <P>SOLUTION: A safety management system includes: an incident report reporting and browsing function; an incident report revising processing and re-evaluating function; and a safety management education learning function. To the respective divisions or sections of a medical institution in which incidents occur or to the whole medical institution, the system supports the thorough treatment of the incidents according to sure and continuous evaluations in which revision processing is set and a reminder function is provided, and links the information on the incidents to the safety management education learning function to heighten the effect of the education, improve the medical institution staff's knowledge about safety, and their awareness that medical incidents should not be caused again and further simultaneously evaluate educational conditions, education test results and the incident information to attain the true evaluation on the effect of the education and individual education about accidents or serious incident-frequently causing groups.
