<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system which recovers the power generation performance of a fuel battery and improves the durability of the fuel battery. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel battery system includes the fuel battery 10, status detecting means 50 and 60, a potential determining means 90, and potential control means 30, 70, and 90. The fuel battery 10 contains platinum as an electrocatalyst. The status detecting means 50 and 60 detect the state of the fuel battery 10. The potential determining means 90 determines target potential equivalent to a target value of the air electrode potential of the fuel battery 10 based on the detected state of the fuel battery 10. The potential control means 30, 70, and 90 recover the power generation performance of the fuel battery 10 by lowering the air electrode potential of the fuel battery 10 to the determined target potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
