<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flickering and painting of an window area in a background color during redrawing of at least part of a lower-side layer image when a composite image generated by superposing a plurality of layer images is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: An image composition system 1 includes an image composition unit 13 and an image generation unit 10. The image composition unit 13 inputs layer images P1 and P2, and superposes the layer P2 on the layer P1 to generate the composite image MP. The image generation unit 10 generates the layer image P1, and also generates the layer image P2 in which an area corresponding to the arrangement of a window W11 is set to be transmissive such that at least a partial area (for example, the window W11) of the layer image P1 is included in the composite image MP. Further, the image generation unit 10 embeds the image of the window W11 before redrawing of the window W11 into the corresponding area in the layer image P2 and cancels the transmission setting for the corresponding area in a blank period wherein the window W11 is redrawn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
