<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic having high resistance to thermal shock and therefore suitable for forming a dielectric ceramic layer of a laminated ceramic capacitor which is thinned to increase a capacity. <P>SOLUTION: In the dielectric ceramic consisting essentially of a perovskite type compound expressed by ABO<SB>3</SB>, when the ABO<SB>3</SB>is BaTiO<SB>3</SB>, for example, its crystal contains the BaTiO<SB>3</SB>crystal particles 11 consisting of the main component, and also Mg-Ni-Ti-O type crystalline oxide particles 12 comprising Mg, Ni and Ti and Ba-Si-O type crystalline oxide particles 13 comprising Ba and Si as a secondary phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
