<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproducing device, etc., aiming at reducing displeasure feeling of a viewer by providing a reproduction state free from a sense of discomfort, when performing streaming reproduction of a content. <P>SOLUTION: The device receives content data from a server via a communication unit 50, and performs streaming reproduction of the content data by a reproduction operation control unit 40 while memorizing them in a data buffer 62. Here, an interruption permission information acquisition unit 42 acquires an interruption permission point from the content data.
