ELASTIC WAVE DEVICE, FILTER, COMMUNICATION MODULE, AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave device having a reduced manufacture cost and allowing a chip size to be reduced.

SOLUTION: The elastic wave device has an excitation electrode 2a and a reflector 2b of elastic waves on a piezoelectric substrate 1 and they are covered with a medium of at least one layer. The elastic wave device is provided with terminal electrodes 3a and 3b exposed from the medium and electrically connected with a part of the excitation electrode 2a, and a part of the terminal electrodes 3a and 3b is disposed at a position to overlap with at least the reflector 2b across the medium.
